1 large cabbage
1 carrot
1 bell pepper
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup white vinegar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
2 T salt
1 t ground mustard
1 t celery seed
1/2 t turmeric
- Grate vegetables and mix sugar over them.
- Heat vinegar, oil, water, salt and spices to boiling point.
- Pour over vegetables and mix.
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
