2 beaten egg yolks
6 cups flour3 cup butter
1 t salt
- pour 1 cup warm water over 2 pkg. yeast
- cream 2/3 cup sugar and 2/3 cup butter together
- add 1 cup hot water and stir until lukewarm then add yeast
- stir in 2 beaten egg yolks, 6 cups flour, and 1 teaspoon salt
- fold in 2 stiffly beaten egg whites cover in refrigerator overnight
- divide and shape as desired
- let rise 2 hours and bake at 400 degrees until brown
